The Month in Brief in EU Approvals.

The heart of the service is a perspective-setting newsletter summarising all EU developments of importance in product approvals and commenting on their importance. It supports a constantly-updated "breaking news" list of highlights on Internet. The newsletter is issued 6 to 10 times per year, and typically covers over 200 individual items per year.

Format: each issue is equivalent to around four A4 pages, with mouse-click links from subject titles (e.g., chemicals, multi-lingual labelling) to the summaries. The news features facts and offers brief comments on their importance. It lists no sources.

Typical clients are looking for perspective and indicators of areas for action. Includes management-level staff in industry or government, who need to assess the importance of new developments inside and outside their own primary area of activity. Clients typically either know where to go to find the detailed sources, or have staff available to do that for them.
